Yeah, I was seriously thrown off by that. From Zechs' post, though, I can see why they were annoyed with you, even if what they said was rather much. What happened, anyway?

The house we bought had sub-standard wiring (Previous owners wired it themselves) and the home inspector said it'd have to be completely redone. We paid the contractors an expedition fee to get finished quickly so we could get the walls back up and painted.

Stupid contractor. Must be one himself, so naturally, he'd think everyone is. I'd have most likely gotten a worse reaction from him.
