When I'm finally moved out to Philly, I'm going to look forward to being able to make trips out to Pittsburgh (whether via Amtrak or via Southwest to able to visit you and to attend your Grove's rites.

And a blessed Beltane celebration to you all.

Roughly a fourth of Sassafras Grove's rites are Germanic, where you'll feel right at home! Over this past year we've had two Germanic rites, Yule and Eostre, both of which were Anglo-Saxon. More or less. At the Eostre rite they also honored "Nerthus". I don't believe Nerthus was a name for the Earth Mother in any culture, but it certainly wasn't an AS name for her. However I've no problem overlooking details like that.

We would be glad to have you as our guest any time.
