Hail Andrew Charles Geimer, father of Andy, grandfather of Alaric Andrew. His memory is alive within his folk. May the gods watch over them during this fragile time, and may Andrew Charles be welcomed joyfully into the halls of his ancestors.

Thank you, but, just in case there's any confusion (as I mention to mynchyld below), this man is not my kin. He is the grandfather of my godson, Alaric Andrew.

I'm not sure exactly what to say, so here goes..
"Hugs to you, Alaric, on the news of your grandfather's passing. I pray that it was peaceful, and that he rests well in the place of his ancestors. May you find peace and joy to know that he is well, whole and happy. So mote it be."

He was not my grandfather. He was Alaric Andrew's (my godson's) grandfather. My own grandfathers both left Middle Earth many years ago.
