Questions from lostcause065
1. What got you into the furry thing?
This one should be easy.. Falstaff, of course. (see also: http://www.soappuppy.com/gallery/gifs/jw-rogers.jpg - SFW, but the rest of the site isn't)

2. Do you ever consider dating anyone that isn't a furry?
Not considering dating anyone at the moment, seeing as I'm already taken.. but in the past, I haven't considered it a necessity by any means. It just tends to go that way since I don't generally get to know any "normal" (for what that word is worth) people in that way.

3. What's the best part of working at Wal-Mart?
An excellent question! Obviously, the paycheck. Which isn't to say that it's better than most other places. It's just.. you know.. the best thing I have going for me there.

4. Do you still plan to study Japanese?
Of course. One of the only interests that's lasted with me throughout school, really.. which leads to a problem next semester. I won't be going for the fall term, but I plan to appeal my grants and scholarships back for the spring semester. This means that I will once again miss out on Japanese 201, so I'm going to have to find something that can pull me through the spring semester or just wait until the next fall so I can study what I want again.

5. What's the best video game you've played and why?
That's a rough one.. after poring over this for a good ten minutes or so in the Thought Amplification Chamber, I can only conclude that it has to be Final Fantasy 7. No other game that is purely single player has kept my interest enough to push through for over 80 hours just to accomplish every inconsequential thing that I can, and then still appealed to me to play through another three times. I kind of feel sorry for you since you didn't understand the story.. in comparison to FF6, I think the story is much more intriguing and effective - which isn't meant to discount FF6. FF6's story is just as great as everyone says; I'm only saying that I think FF7's is a step above it, possibly due to the advance in graphics. I consider FF7 the point where a necessity for story elements due to graphical constraints was mixed with the new hardware that made more graphical storytelling possible - the epitome of both coming together at once. FF8 was, to me, the point where graphics began to take precedence over those little storytelling elements that made FF6 great, and as a result just felt depressing and disappointing from that aspect.

I think that was a little overkill.. didn't even get to talk about how I think Half-Life marked the evolution point for FPS games, where they turned from "Find key A for door A which is hiding key B that opens door B next to door A" into games that progressed with full storylines just as other genres did. If you don't buy the story element approach, then the multiplayer capabilities are an undeniable fact to its power and influence. Over five years later and it's still unbelievably popular as an engine - games like *shudder* Counter-Strike, and (hooray) Natural Selection, etc..

And for fighting games, there's GGX2.. these are all fairly recent games, but one must consider the fact that evolved graphics and all that do play a big role, when done correctly. The older games were, and still are, excellent.. but if games nowadays hadn't progressed or improved at all from them, then their contribution would have been meaningless.

That's way too long.. but for portable RPGs.. Pokemon, duh.
The end.
