So this week the Watchmen movie comes out. I'm very psyched about this and looking forward to Saturday night when we're going to go see it with some friends (and grab some drinks afterwards). Don't be mislead by the snippets they are showing on the commercials, this is not like any other comic book "superhero" movie. The graphic novel that came

so what do you think now that you've seen it? i liked it, not as good as the book of course but nevertheless, it was awesome.

I think they did about as well as can be expected for a theatrical version of the book. Could have been done better as a mini series perhaps, but for a movie in one sitting I think they did well. I'll definitely pick it up on Blu-ray when it comes out. Jackie Earl Haley and Jeffrey Dean Morgan nailed their roles for sure. I think Malin Ackerman was probably the weakest but whether it was her fault or her character getting a little short-shrifted by the script I don't know...
