New years changes.

Alright, Its been a while so I might as well dig into this :P

I am going to try my best to get into some new years resolutions! I suppose I should start of with saying that 2011 has brought me a number of life changing events. Yes I got a few of those things on my list too. Well first I probably better move out of my subterranean oasis AKA my parents basement first and maybe find my own place.

How do you get a job in event production? Is it just one of those things were you have to just "know people"?

Woah, sorry it took so long for me to reply to this.. I totally missed it! I was cleaning out messages and saw your entry >_>

but anyway :P -yeah man! hopefully we can both meet goals for our new years resolutions! I know I'm really serious about mine, that's for sure! And yeah, getting a place of my own without room mates is most certainly on my to-do list!

Event production is kinda hit or miss and it depends on what aspect of the job you're shooting for. I was lucky enough to have a certain skill set that allowed me to kinda jump right in. Of course it helped living really close to the "home office" as well. I'd say for regular production just get your foot in the door, then take it from there! (basically, take whatever shit job you can find and work yourself up in time :P)
