I love London, the perfect place for a short vacation. I need to go there again soon!

*green with envy!!!!* Lucky you!!! I was lucky enough to visit London for four very short days over 20 years ago. We did the tour guide thing because it was the easiest way to see things in the shortest amount of time. Watching the changing of the guard was a whoot as our guide literally ran us from point to point to get a good view. We did Windsor Castle and Royal Albert Hall and the Tower of London. We went to the stage musical Starlight Express and, with the exception of my sister, we all fell asleep because we had just gotten off the plane about four hours before after an 11 hour flight. Made Harrods and bought a few gifts for some friends. I loved it there and would really love to go back. My only problem with non-American destinations I've been to is the lack of ice in your drinks without asking for it. I bet it has changed worlds since I was there!
