Lost!
Ok. so today started like any other day. i overslept. i think it was because my roommates "helped" me stay up till 4, so i slept till 12. whoops. the plan was we were going to go to the supermarket and then cook dinner for some other students, that fell through. Study Abroad day...oh who cares. I'ts 4 am!
so today.... well woke up late, finally. Went and made a local friend. explored the train station. followed a walking tour podcast. got lost on the way back home. climbed my stairs. went and turned in some paperwork. got lost again. went shopping for some food. climbed my stairs again. chatted online with people around here. got sleepy. went to bed ( Read more... ) -
Day 2 of Study Abroad
today was a very gentle day. i got myself up at 6:30 am, showered and made a little sandwich, then i got my roommates up. (oh the duty of being the house mom!) They both know and are super cool with me being gay. First Day of Study Abroad
OK. where to start. SOOOO Brandon took me to Seattle on Monday where we spent the night and then got up at approximately 3:30am. My flight to Charlotte, NC left at 7:30am. Today was frustrating. I will be going back to Ellensburg and college in a few days and i am having car troubles. So after researching the issue for a few days i figured out some possible things. so i worked again on my journal today. i scratched my name in the cover and then bent the corner of the front cover where it says start here. I doodled on some of the first pages and then wrote some journaling on the page about cracking the spine. Todays page was about stepping on your book.

Week one is over!
so i have officially been here for 7 days. It doesnt seem that long. When i was away in Maine, it felt like i was there forever! It may be because i have alot of time on my hands and im totally in charge of my self. I really havent felt homesick yet. I have felt annoyed by all the people, but thats just a personal thing i have to get over ( Read more... ) -

So its not quite the end of the first week here but i thought i would try and get into the scheme of things and write a journal. so i'm sitting here watching reruns of x men evolution, writing letters, and procrastinating reading.
