"Nah, it's just that sitting in this car is seriously damaging my reputation. Anybody hears about this and I'll have to knock over a bank or something to make up for it." He flashed a quick grin.

She rolled her eyes, "I'll have you know this car rocks.

This has been really interesting to read from Mac's point of view. I like how you drop in little tidbits about her observations of Veronica. Makes me really curious all the time about what she's up to. Like why Piz really left the night before (hopefully they broke up or are on their way), or what she was really doing when Mac called her (whatever it is, the L/V shipper in me can't help but hope Logan was there, even if it's just because they're arguing or something, heh).

I'm really interested to see where this goes next.
