Hi there!

In one of the recent episodes, Hiro was describing "how things work in Comic Books", and I found myself thinking: "Has he not read a comic book since 1965?!". He's this super-genius high level comic book nerd that is somehow completely blind to any modern concepts in comic book literature. Do they NOT have a Japanese translation of Watchmen or the Dark Knight Returns?

If I'd been Hiro, my first reaction to ANYthing, would be: "Close your Eyes, Stop Time, Assess the Situation, Start Time Slowly". Yet anytime he sees something out of place or odd, he stops and does his "surprised Hiro face" for 5 - 20 minutes before doing anything else.

"Wait, I have the power to travel backwards in time? How about this? I go back to the 1970s and just spike Sylar's Mom's grapefruit juice with a handful of Morning-After pills?".

Just ... GAH!

Don't you think it eventually has to go there? Because Sylar just gets more and more evil and more and more powerful. And how is it that Mulhinder is just...cured? (I really hate Mulhinder, btw.) I think that I still watch it because its COMIC BOOK TV YAY! But the first season was the best. I do like the ambiguous good/evil thing they've got going on. Because 1 dimensional characters are Superman dull.

Hi there!

Gah! I hope I didn't spoil anything for you! You're on like a 7-day delay or something down there in Oz, aren't you? :(

oh no.. don't worry.. I hadn't realised the series had started again, so I'm two episodes behind.. so by the time I get to the episode you're talking about, I would have forgotten all about it.. in fact I have already! heh..

hi there!

I've been more careful when playing Manhunt* than the people on this show. Seriously, when I'm trying not to be seen, I like to stay close to the ground and keep my head down. I have yet to play a game of Manhunt** in which the seeking team was wearing body armor, armed with assault rifles, and had just fired a few rounds of air-to-surface missiles at my last known location. I get the feeling that something like that would have encouraged me to keep my damn head down. Especially if I knew that I could probably just stay close to the treeline and keep thinking: "I'm over HERE, you idiot!" and my psychic boyfriend would be able to hear me.

Not that I'd ... um, ... have a psychic boyfriend, just ... work with me here ...

* Yes, I know that it's just hide & seek for boys older than age 10.
** ... and I haven't played it since I was a Senior in High School, damn it. [sob]
