Hi there!

Okay, so last yesterday (Sunday), the beautiful wifey and I were watching a M*A*S*H* marathon of our own devise. I was playing WoW and downing Manhattans like they were Gatorade, and she was snuggling with the kittehs and falling asleep There was one episode that struck me as slightly ... off. It was a 3rd season episode ( Read more... )

Ah, WoW. I'm so glad I quit that game.

And I realize that this was the 1950s, where you really couldn't blame a GUY for wanting to sow a little wild oats while out on the front, but a WOMAN was expected to be more chaste than Penelope until his return.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

A guy "strays", and he's just being masculine. A woman "strays", and SHE ARE DEFILED!

That episode always bugged the heck out of me too! It's one of the only reasons I didn't really like Blake (I and a staunch Potter fan). Don't forget Potter was only tempted, never cheated. :P

Hi there!

And totally ...

My highest is still 47th level. I don't understand you "shoot up to 80th within a year of getting the game" people.

It probably has something to do with the fact that wifey would murder me if I spent that much time online. :P

My main character is up to 70 now but the only reason is that my boyfriend helped me pretty much all the way. Being in two different states, we only really have television shows, the phone, and the game to share fun. It's going to be a totally different thing after September and I'm back in the east. I already told him we will have to meet up with you and yours on the shore or something. ;)

What's interesting to me about this is that, poly or no, I certainly have dealt with jealousy. And my experience is that as soon as one partner has a parallel experience to the other partner (e.g., falls in love with someone else and doesn't feel a diminution of love for the first partner), the jealousy fades. It makes me feel better to be having fulfilling relationships outside of my marriage when my husband is having them, too. :)

hi there!

The lovely pkmorrison had a complaint in her journal about Cyrillic spammers, and immediately after posting it, someone went through everyone on her friends list and posted that stream of pics over and over again.

I happened to be one of those lucky souls. Go me! I banned the person from my journal, but not before he/she flooded this post with spammage. >:( Sorry again!
