Thanks for your comment and concern! I was actually in San Diego when it happened, but my family and friends are alright. Glad to hear you, your family, and your friends are ok!

My friend is stuck in California now 'cuz of the cancelled flights, poor thing. I'm glad everyone's alright for your end!

Thank you for your concern, we are alright, no one I personally know was hurt. The only bad part was the inconvenience of no electricity for the whole day. Other than that, I caught up on a lot of sleep, hahaha. I had a Twinkie for lunch, slept the afternoon away, and had furikake steamed rice & soymilk cereal for dinner. Then I burnt birthday candles (mostly for fun) since we were so unprepared, we had no real candles to burn. No D size batteries neither....hence no working radio...haha, I had to sit in my car if I wanted to get an update on the radio. Aside from getting shocked awake, it was a pretty restful day. hahaha.
