He's a close friend of Cloud's that Yuffie can talk to comfortably. The most important thing to note here is that Yuffie feels like she can confide in him when it comes to issues with Cloud, and is reassured in the fact that if she can't keep an eye on Cloud than Kurapika can.
❤❤❤❤❤ ROY MUSTANG
Since she first spoke to him, Yuffie's now joined the WATCH under this man - mostly because his choice in 'thieves' was terrible and she's absolutely convinced she could have done better if she had been part of his organization. So here she is, playing up the side of justice. It's like the good old times again! Just without the sticky fingers... Kind of.
On the other hand, he is such a stick in the mud! It's not that he does his job badly, he's just strict and Yuffie does not do well with strict.

Yuffie did not approve of his deal ( read: suicide pact ) with Vincent, so when she first talked to him of course she yelled at him and promised to make things right. While he's oddly naive and young considering his appearance, Yuffie doesn't ask too many questions and simply accepts him for the way he is. He's always surprising her with what he knows and what he doesn't, but she does what she can to be helpful and goes out of her way to help him in whatever way that she can. She might even enroll him in school if she can figure out how.

A loud, obnoxious, annoying, bratty boy who thinks he can out-ninja the Greatest Ninja to ever walk Shibusen; namely Yuffie! He boasts, he yells, and Yuffie has never met someone so much like her that she's really not sure what to think. Actually, he's not that horrible and Yuffie doesn't think badly of him at all. Despite what she says to him, she likes him a lot and thinks he's funny to talk to. If anything, he's the best Ninja Rival she's ever had!
❤❤❤❤❤ FUUKA YAMAGISHI
Quiet and so timid it hurts! Yuffie will give her all the advice in being aggressive, but maybe that's not the best thing to do...
❤❤❤❤❤ CHOSOKABE MOTOCHIKA
A thief like herself! Sort of. A pirate. SAME THING. He's funny, she gets along with him for the most part, that's all that matters so long as he doesn't try to put her on a boat.

A funny alien guy that... is actually kind of touchy about the whole race thing as far as Yuffie's decided. He's not a bad guy, though. ( ... he is a guy right? )

He seems reluctant to be open, but Yuffie would like to get to know him better. Even though he seems kind of cold, he has his moments of kindness.

A cute and perky kind of girl by the looks of things.
