Goodbye to a Charleston landmark

This past Monday, June 30th, one of the landmarks of the Charleston gay community closed it's doors. The Tap Room, one of the local bars closed after many, many years. I've been going there since my college days in the 70's. I always made sure I made a visit there on my trips in to visit my mom while I was in the DC area. I even met my buddy Chuck ( Read more... )

Unless, of course, (I just thought), you are talking about Charleston, WV and not Charleston, SC.
