I'm so sorry you have this work situation with an awful boss. I can understand completely why you wouldn't want to stay there much longer. Sometimes people just really don't understand others.

I really wish you weren't so discouraged about the MD/PhD program because I know how excited you were for it. Just remember that not all doctors are like him.
