Many of you are not blessed by the wonders of the program officially known as America OnLine, and as such, I felt the need to share with you, some of the infinite wisdom of it's programmers: ( Behind a cut, for those who really don't care )
I don't but my parents do. *shrug* I'm stuck w/ AOL whenever I'm home, and even if I don't do anything but sign on and open up firefox, it still does that "AOL is removing artwork" thing when i sign off.
This is what you get for having users that have been using the same software since windows 3.1. People are always up in-arms as soon as the interface for their usual programs change. I remember reading people loudly complaining about XP's UI change (compared to 9x) and how it was annoying and bad. Now the majority of the people seem to think that the UI was improved. (Though not everyone agrees with the start menu change) People are creature of habit and when your whole market is a bunch of lemmings/inert people, it is the habit that's keeping them there.
