just finished my first overnight shift. I've been catching up on my Scrubs viewing lately (the TV show, that is). I'd been downloading it, but I stopped near the end of season 3 for two reasons. The first was that UVa started bandwidth limiting the dorm connections and I was having to fight to avoid getting stuck on dial-up. finally got to celebrate my birthday with my family, which was a wonderful time and to my surprise yeilded several amusing gifts which will shortly be adorning my room. Additionally, it yeilded a wonderful cake. annnnd... i've just woken my sister up with my typing, so i shall be cutting this very short and getting to bed.

I confuse myself a lot. A lot of times, I wish I was a bit more laid back. I wish I wasn't so uncomfortable in crowds... maybe I could kick back and have a drink or two on occasion, be more "normal." back from yet another weekend at nova, with my car now sporting a new (and annoyingly chrome tipped) muffler. $287. I am not pleased, especially considering it cost me $100 less than that to get the whole pipe under the car replaced a few years ago (and i thought they put on a new muffler too).
