With Halloween and then the first Hogsmeade weekend coming up, Hogwarts seemed to be turning the corner from last week's events. Even though he was still concerned about the attacks, Professor Peregrine knew that there was little he could do on his side except for teach his students the necessary skills they would need when they graduated. Of course, he couldn't tell them nor would he want them to all become aurors and fight evil, but if they learned and became better witches and wizards in his eyes, then his job would be done. As he waited for the last student to arrive, he gave his class a friendly smile and chatted with a few students in the front rows about their other classes.
