(maybe a little short because you didn't even know about it. =P)

"What do you think Seannie?" Grady asked his best mate curiously, turning around for a moment to get a better look at the giant redhead. "I think Chloe totally digs me." He winked, to show he was joking, even if he wasn't. Sure she was a teacher, and sure he didn't see her all that much outside of class, but he knew he was her favorite. She looked at him like the other teachers didn't, and he tried his best not to look back too suspiciously. After all, he had Charlie seated not at all far away from him. Something had happened between them - he and Charlie - something he couldn't quite put his finger on, but it was something that made him distracted by every graceful curve of Professor Vinter and he couldn't shake her.

Well, he could try with a bit of football, couldn't he?

Kicking the ball back to his friend, Grady ran up farther and twisted for the pass, still waiting for his friend's response. Next to Quidditch, football was Grady's favorite sport and he would not miss an opportunity to play, even if the clouds were threatening rain. He was not made of sugar; he would not melt. Sean might have been made of sugar, but Grady knew well enough that he could coax his friend into staying outside with him; Grady would just tell him that the showers were brief and that they ought to stay outside. After all, his mate was as gullible as....a very gullible thing, but that was what he loved most about Sean. Or again, maybe something a little more manly.

"Would you trick'r'treat with me on Halloween? Go around to the pretty professors and see if they'll dress up? I wonder if we could get any candy," Grady said, at times talking to himself though he was looking at Sean. "Anyway, pass the ball," he encouraged having not passed the ball not too long ago, but getting anxious anyway. "We could play one-on-one?" Of course Grady wasn't wearing his football clothing, but there were house elves to wash their muddy clothes, weren't there?
