Hello. People now know me as Mela, but when I attended Cross Creek Manor from January 26, 1999 through February 10, 2002 (36 months, 2 weeks, and 5 hours of pure Hell,) people knew me as Pam. I am a program graduate. As of 2005, I live in a house with a good friend I met in the program, her husband, and some other non-program friends. We own the ( Read more... )

I attended Provo Canyon School from November 1999 to May 2000. I believe Cross Creek Manor is also located in Utah. There's something quite sinister happening in that state...I have plenty of stories to back that up with. I'd like to post my story eventually, because I think most people who get out of these programs alive have plenty in common. I'm going out of town this weekend, but I'd like to start posting in this forum. I think we all might have some things to get off our chests...

I have never heard of that school! Is it a WWASP or a different sort of program but along the same lines?

The program itself didn't help me as much as the people I met there. I met quite a few girls (and a couple of staff) who cared A LOT and through their compassion and caring, helped me to become a better person. I got better in spite of the program, not because of it.

That's because the program doesn't help you; it makes you worse...
It infuses guilt into your being for the sole purpose of fishing it out by means of brainwashing seminars so you can appear "fixed" and actually feel "fixed" for a time being, until you ultimately realize that you were duped and never felt that remorseful about the socially unnacceptable things that you did beforehand.

Hi. I've never been in a WWASSP camp, and I'm not a member, but I read this on the bbc site and thought you might find it to be very good news.

My condolances. I heard Casa was really bad.

It could have been worse, I suppose.

Hey, let me know if there's anything I can help with re:lawsuit.

The best thing you can do is post your story on here. I never went to casa, so all I know about it is second-hand, but some of the others here have, and it would be good to be able to compare notes.

And, yes, it could have been worse, it could have been Jamaica or High Impact, but Casa was really bad in it's own right with the hobbit and all. I heard Casa food was bad, too.
