i've finished all the problem sets that are due this week. which gives me lots of time to write a nice, LONG post for y'all to read. dude, it's not like i update a lot. so deal with it. i'll even explore LJ Cuts for easier reading for y'all.

Back up everything you ever want to see again onto burned CDs. EVERYTHING. Period. Find the CDs of all of the programs you want to use again, or figure out where you can semipirate them from. Then FORMAT THE DRIVE and reinstall. You'll lose everything that's not on the CDs, but it will fix ANYTHING that isn't a hardware issue, basically.

there's supposed to be a *cries* at the end of that. i don't mean to sound whiny. and i appreciate any support in my current Disgust for Windows 98.
