Just like every other person living in the general area of the central US, I went storm chasing yesterday.** Actually, it's the first time I've gone storm chasing in basically two years. Around 10:30 am I was debating it, but I was a little hesitant to go seeing i just flew back to OKC around midnight the night before and needed to do such fun ( Read more... )

I was looking at your flickr photos, and I realized that Christy's wedding WAS at the same place where my friend Tonya got married last year!

It was a really nice place.. I liked that everyone there was completely relaxed about everything... I also had no idea how close it was to UNCA until I went there for the rehearsal.

The red does look fantastic in all the pictures.

Glad your drive wasn't completely in vain. Did you hear that the McClain West Texas Mesonet site was hit by that tornado? Pretty cool stuff.

I spent that night watching an inch of pea to quarter sized hail fall into the open hole in our yard with exposed water pipes, literally praying to God that it wouldn't get any bigger. Don't you just love Spring?

open hole have something to do with finding that capped off pipe?
