I don't have any tattoos, but every once in awhile I kind of think that I want one--kind of. A few reasons why I'll never get one though

Great Vince Vaughn quote by the way. I knew someone who graduated from Arizona and supposedly everyone there got a T-storm symbol tattoo upon graduation. She put her's on her ankle and it looked pretty cool. There are so many weather symbols, but most of them would make lame tattoos. Tattoos are definitely not my thing, I can't think of anything that I'd want to display when I'm 80 or whatever. A couple of ideas came to me, what do you think is fascinating/beautiful about meteorology? How about a snowflake fractal? Snow is probably what got me first interested in weather, and the fractal/similarity across all scales is an awesome thing to me. What about Lorenz model butterfly wings? Symbolizes NWP, uncertainty, chaos, predictability, etc. I think these would be tough to do and not end up looking like a complete dork. I like the F=ma idea, that would make a good knuckle/fist tattoo. Maybe F = m a on one hand and second law of thermo (something like dQ/T >= 0) on the other.
i have a meteorology tattoo. it's a circle on my back with different meteorological symbols in it. i don't have a picture, otherwise i'd show it to ya.

Eye smack in the middle!
Just think of the great lines you might here at local clubs and pubs:
"How low is your minimum central pressure?"
"Got a tight pressure gradient, don't ya!"
"I bet I can breath some warm air advection into your spiral bands..."
and finally,
"Are you ready for my dropsonde?"
;)
