Fall colors are here!

I love fall colors. I took this from my deck. Up north the colors are out in full force, here they are just starting and down south by my daughter they haven't even begun. Funny how the leaves seem to follow the sun.

Nothing changing color around here yet. *whispers* I guess it would help if it got cool (I am so enjoying the Indian summer).

Our daytime temps have been in the 80's and our nighttime temps have been in the 40's. Big swing this time of the year.

Great shots. Here in Germany the colours of the trees already changed. It is beautiful to walk through the forrest. I love it.

I love fall. Not far from here is a mountain observation point. Standing there the colors just jump out at you. I hope to get up there when they are at their peak color, about 2-3 weeks. (If my daughter doesn't go into labor before that!)
Then, winter. Turkeys by the dozens coming for food. Love feeding them. Wonder how many this year. 93 is still the top number.

Oh beautiful! Not a lot of color change around here but I did notice the pine needles falling off the trees today.

Pine needles??? Our pines shed all year long! Rainstorm just passed through and the temp went from 75 to 50 in about 15 minutes! 40's tonight for sure.

These pines really shed in the fall. One morning they'll be on the trees, and by evening they'll be all over the yard. :)

Glad I don't have that kind. I have 7 acres and around 4 1/2 is trees. I have enough stuff dropping on the ground!
