The following are a compilation of some of my favorite SHINee fanfictions. Before you turn away from certain fics due to pairing biases, word counts, etc., please at least read through a few paragraphs. These stories, these worlds that have been created, are meant to be shared and are truly some of the most beautiful creations I have ever read. I promise you, you won't regret it.
Under each title/link/author is a short description I have written about the fics. Hopefully, they will help draw you in as well. Happy reading~

Four boys are in a psychiatric ward because no one understands them; one boy is determined to prove otherwise. The emotions and characterization crafted in this fic are just beautiful, easily placing it as my favorite SHINee fanfiction of all time.

What if you're meant to be, but just can't seem to find your other half? Keep trying; after all, third time's the charm.
☆ A Stupidity Without Name by undamage
I never really understood why people were so fascinated with the concept of sparkly, pale-skinned blood drinkers who demonstrated their affection by watching people in their sleep. But to each their own. This fic has your rolling around the floor in laughter as SHINee is exposed to the "magical" world of vampires, werewolves-but-not-really, and cannibalistic infants.

He's a brilliant surgeon who just wants to give people a second chance- and perhaps find a second chance for himself as well.

Imagine driving down the roads at an illegal speed, your hands controlling some of the sleekist, fastest pieces of moving metal in the world. Throw in a deadly mission, gunfire, gadgets, and some romance- oh, look at that. You've got the makings of an amazing action fic.

A defect brings two boys together, making what is supposed to be life-threatening, something completely and utterly wonderful.

The world seems to have moved on past SHINee- new record deals, new acting spots, new lives. But he doesn't want to move past the one person that mattered the most to him.

He's gone back to get his post-bac in medicine. Turns out, he learns so much more about chemistry than he ever anticipated.

Oscar Wilde is a genius, and The Picture of Dorian Gray is but a mere glimpse of his ingenuity. This fic captures that genius and brings it alive with a little help from SHINee. For those who dreaded or despised the book (because it was an AP book, and let's be honest, no one handles assigned books very well), I urge you to give it a second chance.
☆ The Soulbearer by miss_circle
This wonderful fic creates a whole new world, comparable, in my opinion, to a darker version of a Studio Ghibli work. A soulbearer searches for answers to his job, to life, and along his quest, meets some of the most interesting people. But what is a soulbearer? That's why you should read it. *peer pressure*
☆ Other Earth by quellazaire
Things are ending, nothing makes sense- and yet, if you keep your eyes wide open, someone will be waiting for you.
