I'm having massive feels for this fic. Why did it took me so long to read this?! The plot is new and your writing is so so nice. The way you described the characters, the settings and the feelings of Kyungsoo and Joonmyun makes my heart tug for all of the characters. The plot is not one would usually read in a fanfic and that makes it A+ The idea of merman x human and the conflicts that arise from it is normal for stories, but the fact that you inserted Poseidon's words and reincarnation made the whole thing different.
The most I love in this story is the fact that Poseidon's words are true. The human will really leave Kyungsoo, but only because the human is merely a human. He dies. He leaves Kyungsoo not because of greed or anything else, but because he dies. So heartbreaking Poseidon rubbed his brow, voice cracking as he pleaded with his son. “You would be living to die.”
“No,” Kyungsoo answered, clutching his amulet firmly. “I am dying to live.”
