Amazes me how Americans seem to vote for leaders that seem to belong in a sheltered workshop. The only saving grace the US has had over the years was the genius of Greenspan and he's retired.

US politics is rather like an on-going popularity contest. Or a dog and pony show. Either way I've become apathetic about politicians here.
