ASIDE FROM EPIC KUDOS ♥

Bartering sounds fantastic, as I know Merlin has been longing for a book of magic that he had back in Camelot- would there be any way for him to get something like that? And if so, what would the raksha like in return?

The Raksha would probably be fascinated by tales of how magic works in other worlds. Some tales of Camelot-style-magic in use would probably earn him some written record of Exalted-verse thaumaturgy? (I can actually zip you a PDF of the sorts of things that would contain)

They wouldn't be able to provide anything directly more helpful toward that specific desire than some quite fancifully fictitious how-to?

...which could lead to all sorts of spellfail lulz, if you're interested. Bogus magic book, ftw?

OHMYGODYESYESYES I would love a pdf, and so would Merlin XD So he could nerd over it quite epically but OH GOD THE SPELLFAIL it's a brilliant idea. Are you thinking the bogus magic would be something that wouldn't work at all, or maybe do absolutely nothing useful for the situation? Free to run with it? :O?

^ Pick a couple of those Chapter 2 Spells that aren't completely broken, cool and applicable, and assume there's some spell instruction in glorious purple prosey detail.

...How well they actually work/fail is up to you.

Ed wants a watch. Its the only thing I could think up, lol.

But, ooooh how there has to be a catch.

So, perhaps, pull an All Dogs Go to Heaven type thing? If the watch isn't wound up and doesn't always tick while its in his possession his "life" will stop? Or perhaps his mind? Like, a temporary state of death type thing, and his life starts up when the watch is wound up again and starts ticking? (This would also mean that if the watch becomes damaged or wet or something he'd be in danger).

So yes! Just an idea I'm throwing out there ^^; that and he's still losing his soul, I think?

The gossamer items will only 'last' a duration of two months, so...idk if it would bond permanently to his life force like that.

But perhaps a watch that breeds a time-compulsive behavior? Gossamer objects often become a fixation, so...he could become overly time-conscious?

*snerks and can't believe she didn't think about this*

The OCD time stuff will be entertaining~

Buuuut, is there any way that Ed could be given like, tall-ness? Maybe not actually growing, but appearing like he grew? Kind of like a glamor?

late comment is late, but hey, it lasts for a few months right?

He could probably be given a wearable artifact that sort of mentally misdirects anyone from noticing his height in relation to anyone else, but....idk if they could fake!grow him any. That would be like a permanent wyld mutation?
