I need to get a chance to practice with my looper -- the amount of timing needed with it is something that I can't do without dedicated practice, but setting time aside from that is Hard. I should also probably set up a simpler looper -- I've built a Very Complicated setup with an expensive looper and a foot pedal to be able to operate it without changing tracks, but that's expensive/hard to get to cons and also means I have to spend time and effort setting it up before I practice with it and time also putting it to the side when I want to reclaim that space (that said, it's a 5 independent track looper, which is -glorious-).

So having some time on a simpler looper with only one or two tracks would help me work on the coordination I need to build discrete loops to time--even playing around with the looper on my multi-effect box was actually pretty fun, and that's basically a one-button looper (with I think no undo? Undo is great).

I know there's a looper ap on ipad (saw it on television). That would be nicely portable for filks. I wonder if it exists for iphone. I would guess it does.

I should investigate.
