Yeah man. Great lyrics. I think they really capture the brutality of a break up.

To me, this song seems to express a lot more about the brutality of the relationship than the fact it ended.

Yeah. I guess it's a relationship where the girl was happier ("Like when you said you felt so happy you could die"), but the guy wasn't really ("But felt so lonely in your company"), then they break up and he can't understand why she can't even acknowledge his existence.
