I remember Fury. I was a prisoner, got put in a lab room with an alien. Survived by screaming so much the scientists called off the experiment, thinking I was insane and it would invalidate the test results.

Also conjures the memory of yelling out "It's gonna kill you, Johnson! It's gonna f$&!king kill you!" right as everyone else happened to fall very quiet.

Good times.

I think I was one of the eco terrorists. We decamped to some place near Karori for the first evening, and I semi-deliberately but plausibly spannered the narrative because I was a bit bored and wanted to see what would happen :)
I also remember fighting off a quite specific attempt at elimination from a certain GM, although my character ultimately didn't survive I think...

Friday night there were two off site groups. The Eco Terrorists and the Incoming Shipment spacecraft. I ran the spacecraft with close communication with the Eco Terrorists who boarded the craft near the end of the evening. It was also seeded at this point that an alien got loose on the craft, so when the escapees of the facility later got up to the spacecraft it was already a hulk in space with at least 1 alien on board. The craft landed on Saturday morning and the ETs attacked the base and all hell broke loose ( ... )

Yeah, this is how it went down. Loads of other things happening too of course. Those final scenes were incredible - every dice roll with lives in the balance, a huge audience watching - and it finally coming down to Karen making it happen.

I've said many times that the original person lined up to be the deep-cover synthetic infiltrator, while an extremely smart player, surely would have been ID'd and taken down before the end - how could one person fool another 40? But he couldn't make it and we had to find a replacement, and we went in a completely different direction giving the role to Karen. It worked out way better than anyone expected, Karen included. She was just so nice to everyone, even though she kept doing incredibly dodgy stuff people just *trusted* her. Until it was too late...

Yeah Karen already had a character and we gave her a curveball and said, and you are also this. i.e. Undercover Robot.

In some ways I think that is the best way of pulling something like that.
