The Saints lost the game on special teams, but it was a spectacular finish. I honestly thought the Saints were going to win the Superbowl. At least yours lost a close one, mine just got blown out by New England. At least I like them too. Sadly the 49ers are still standing who are the only team left I really don't want to see win the Superbowl.

Oh man, surrealfish and I watched the highlights last night after watching New England deliver the expected beatdown; what a game! What a weekend! The Saints will be kicking themselves for sure. I was looking forward to a Green Bay v New Orleans NFC Championship game and lamenting that it couldn't be a Superbowl, but the Packers played their game like the Saints did in this one! maybe if we petition the NFL, they'll play that game instead of the Pro Bowl.

So despite the fact that Saints and Packers both lost and Saints Packers 2 won't happen until next season I think the potential Superbowl match-ups are all interesting.

Pats v Giants - Superbowl rematch with Pats looking for revenge
Ravens v 49ers - Harbaughs, rematch of close game earlier in the season too.
Ravens v Giants - Ravens beat the Giants the first time they went to the Superbowl and these are the two teams with the most balanced teams.
Pats v 49ers - The Pats have never played the same team twice in the Superbowl and this would be another different team. Brady would be going for SB ring 4 against Montana's old team. Great Offense v Great Defense. This match-up is actually really damn intriguing.

It is a shame that whatever it is I can't watch it live as I will be working on Cricket.
