What's this Vancouver crud you speak of?? And how do you know you caught it here? You were all over... and could have gotten it anywhere, lol.

Vancouver, B.C.? No one here is sick. Plus you were on a plane with lots of people with recirculating air.

The crud is a particular brand of nasty lingering cold that people who visit Vancouver from other places seem to pick up. I think natives are more resistant to it, but people who have visited me in the 'couve in the past have often picked up a nasty cold that just doesn't end.

Anyway, it could have been exposure from anywhere, you're definitely right about that. To be honest, I'm very much hoping it's NOT the crud. :P

Bah. It's very common for travelers to get sick as they are exposed to more than usual (especially if public transportation is used) so it's probably just coincidence. I don't think Vancouver has it's own breed of crud. Besides, you were a native up until 2.5 years ago so you'd already have an immunity to it. :)

I've missed you too bro. I was feeling quite the mixture of happy and bummed out throughout my trip as various people I wasn't going to be seeing again on that visit came and went.

I'm glad the internet keeps us in contact, but I definitely wish there was some kind of instant teleportation method available! :P
