I'm not sure if I'm on my second or third year with iphone. I was always a mac person so I think I adapted naturally but The Boy took to his iphony goodness like no other and still shows me things about it I never knew.

I don't think we were ever meant to use the gadget to its full potential. If you can make a call and hang up -- you've basically mastered the sucker.

I suppose you're right. If I haven't accidentally locked myself out of it, I'm doing all right. ;-}

I'm so glad that you're writing for the website. The second chapter is awesome.

Is it? I can honestly say I have no idea if what I'm writing is crap or if it's any good. There's a weird, gooey vulnerable feeling to that.

Are you kidding? I am still struggling to master my good old-fashioned flip phone. I need to ask the 12-year-old for another tutorial in texting. I may take a class in how to turn off an iPhone, though. I have far too many parents who respond to, "Please turn your cell phone all the way off, not to standby or vibrate," with, "I don't think I know how." It would afford me considerable pleasure to be able to say, "Oh, gimme that. There. It's off. Turning it off is free, but there's a fee to turn it back on."
