What's the best thing that happened to you over this holiday weekend? Please share.

For me... best thing was eating bad carbs (for which I'll be atoning this week,) and having a big marathon Halloween adventure with someone I'd been missing for a while. It's always good to reconnect with old friends.

Sounds like a fun weekend to me! Yay, debauchery!

Calialleykat and I went to Metropolis for the Halloween shindig. Lots of fun, dancing, even got a little playtime in. And got to see my OGB friends (and damnit, I can't remember names! I'm starting to get a bit concerned about my perforated memory for names), as well as a few OTK people.

Me - I only found out about it after the fact ('cause we pretty much stayed in our cave, what with me having to work time change and having major cleaning and ritual stuff we needed to accomplish) - but the best news of the holiday? Amber had her baby girl ON HALLOWEEEN, and even though she's nearly 2 months early she's doing GREAT! :D

She (Amber) should be going home from the hospital today, and the doctors are predicting that the little one (who remains to be named yet - I know Paul had been pushing for Jezebel, but I think Amber's gotten him to compromise on that) will probably be ready to go home in 3-4 weeks, which is spectacular! She's currently 3 lbs, and is 18 inches long - a really good size for a premie.

So that's MY best news of the week. :D

Oh that *is* good news! I saw some hospital-related updates you'd posted over the weekend on fb and I'd wondered how she was doing.
