I read that earlier and wanted to cry. It's disgusting.

It really really is. I signed the petition, posted the link on my twitter and then followed you with posting it here - it NEEDS to be spread EVERYWHERE. It just makes me sick to think that this was done. I want to start a fund for Clay and wrap him in quilts of love just to try an balance some of the hell he has been through!

Yes, exactly. It is insane that their wishes would just be flagrantly disregarded. How do you do that to a person?? to anyone? for any reason?

This is incredibly appalling, omg. See, this is why Big Government squicks me. That it was just allowed to happen makes me want to vomit. When are these people going to get it through their thick heads that one cannot (and should not have to) help who one loves, nor does any governmental agency have the right to try to define 'proper relationships' by legislation?

Yeah. After rotation's over and I get my life back, there are words that need to be written about this. My voice might be small, but I can project it quite effectively. :D

Thank you for posting the full story. The headline told a lot, but the details are chilling.

*hugs*

Um, I really, really don't follow how they could even begin to justify that. Even if, by their own reasoning, the two were "just roommates", since when can you sell off everything both roommates own without discussing it with either roommate??

This parses to me as beyond mismanagement and into either sheer greed, or active hate crime, because simply misinterpreting their relationship still fails to justify the behavior.
