PSA: The Rules

Jun 27, 2010 22:42

Borrowed from the crew of The Ridden Moon:

1. Don't visualize.
-A. If you must visualize, do it in Claymation. This does not make it better, it just makes it funnier.
2. No boobies for asshats. Do not reward bad behavior.
3. Don't stick it in crazy.

Just a few guidelines to assist us in making better life choices.

Words to live by. (Possibly words that one could find in Chaucer ever.)

From reading your earlier post, these may be words that ought to be passed along to Master Chaucer (and his drinking buddies. Debbie Does Dallas? Seriously? I'm certain there's better on the market, if it must happen).

It's not Chaucer, he just gets led into stuff like that. It's Jean de Meun-- did I post the bit where he's talking about shoving his staff into a tight hole? -- Well, never mind, but it's about on a level with Debby Does Dallas.

I was torn between an intense desire to know and an intense fear of that knowledge.

These rules have helped to maintain an even keel on the privateer (as far as our Crown is concerned) vessel The Ridden Moon's crew. Considering they're a bunch of twenty-to-thirtysomething guys (with exceptions, of course) on a trailer mounted ship cum bar complete with multiple beer taps...well, let's just say some rules were in order.
Fear is not an entirely inappropriate emotion.

I've seen quite a few people making questionable (at best) life choices lately, so I thought a reminder (for most) and/or an introduction (for a few folks) might be in order.
