Talking to your 7 year old about friends...is hard...

You did nothing but say the right thing to her. I agree that age 7 isn't quite yet the time for her to find out that most people on this world are shit.. women and men. and that they are only out there for their own gains. she's too young to learn the truth about people and to become so jaded yet. She'll figure it out on her own as more so called friends do stupid ass things to her all in the name of "friendship". She's a smart girl with a wonderful mom who's instilled some awesome values in her. She'll get it when the time comes.
