I don't know if I have many other V watchers on my list, but I'm going to do this post anyway, because I just finished catching up with it last night, and wanted to get my random thoughts out

It's a remake of a sci-fi mini-series that first aired back in the 70s. The premise is basically these 29 spaceships park themselves over major cities in the world, the mothership being over NYC, and the Vs are basically the aliens, as it stands for Visitor. It's about their agenda and what they really want, because even though they say they come in peace and seem totally friendly and non-threatening, they have some sort of ulterior motive. So there's a resistance group that forms against them, but they have to be careful because the Vs have control in a lot of places, and people kinda follow them blindly, devotedly. It's really good, you should check it out if you like sci-fi!
Yeah, I know this is the remake...I'm thinking about watching the original, but I'll leave that til after I watch this series, just because I don't want to spoil anything!
Oh ok, the way you describe it sounds like its a first run series, I posted a while back the trailer and tidbits of V hoping some f-list would watch, its great considering the original was really awesome. I like Anna she plays a great vixen, Dianna was equally as ruthless if not more so. Watching the original may be best after watching this one to compare, but the new series is almost more of a continuance then a remake, they turn things around and mix it up quite a bit

Cool, I'm definitely intrigued by the original, so I'll check it out when I can, and once we're done with this season!
Ooh yeah, I don't think it's going to go down well when the truth comes out that Ryan is a V, especially since, you're right, we found out that his wife is pregnant in episode 4. I'm also a little worried because she was at one of the V medical centres when she was told the news, so I wonder if they'll have been able to use their super-technology and somehow find out that the baby is half-V. This raises a lot of questions about what the baby will be like once it's born too! Eek.
I actually find the priest, Jack, kind of attractive *headslap* I really hope he's going to be okay, I'll be gutted if he dies!
I'm glad someone else on my list watches this, haha, it'll be cool to squee over it together!
