I liked it.  It wasn’t earth shattering or anything and the opening scene with the Sherpa guides was dumb (and it wouldn’t have been if they hadn’t made it so slapstick, especially since the follow up of that scene later in the ep was terrific), but there was a lot about it that was familiar (and not in a good way).

I thought it was okay, but I have a weakness for hallucinations and prophetic characters who are considered nuts by the world in general, I think. I never got into Journeyman (which still boggles me, because I am usually insane for time travel plots), so I don't have the bitter associations. Loretta Devine was kind of fun, actually. She suited the character, and I hadn't realized she was so tall.

I might watch it again next week, but I only caught it this week because I was channel-surfing after Supernatural which almost never happens, and is a bit of a damning indicator for what I thought of the Ruby backstory. :-/

I seriously need to rewatch Season 1.

Yeah. I hear ya. ;-)

I did like Loretta Devine here too, and her interaction with Eli I thought was one of the highlights of the show. I also adore Victor Garber, but there just wasn't anything to his character here. And the 'engaged to the bosses daughter' thing was just a little to "Las Vegas" for me. But hey, at least it's something new and it's not a reality show. ;-P

I thought it was OK. I thought the characters were interesting enough to have me tune in again and the SF porn is awesome! I am just waiting for Victor to sing and then all will be right with the world.
