Chronicles of Blue Mage: Leveling & More Blue Magic
Vanadiel is such a lovely place! As Flynne would say, "We are travelling through Vanadiel as a Blue Mage!" This is just so we can obtain our Blue Magic and it gives us the great opportunity to look at the different parts of Vanadiel that we would otherwise not see!
I mean, I became a tree in Jugner Forest just trying to get Pinecone Bomb! :D So... let's go off to our adventures!
We return back to the wet and marshy place called Pashlow Mashlands! Previously, we were here in search of Goobues! Now we're in search of Leeches and MP Drainkiss.
Flynne and I decimating a poor hapless Leech! But he refuses to use MP Drainkiss! Silly Leech! :( We also met the NM leech, unfortunately I didn't take a screenshot because we were kinda too excited about seeing it.
and... INTRODUCING the flexibility of Blue Mages. Due to our timing and the fact that we have "AWESOME" (read awful) luck at finding a decent tank and healers at our party, we present the first ever NO TANK and NO HEALER party. ZOMG!
and it works!
XP was flowing like water and everyone got at least 3 levels there! We leveled from 29 to 33 I think. Not really sure of the level range! But awesome party!
Party Setup was: BLU/NIN, BLU/NIN, BLU/WHM, DRG/NIN, SAM/NIN, BRD/WHM
Thereafter we decided to relax a bit and duo a few Goblin's pets at the Sanctuary of Zi'Tah!
They gave us awesome xp! Although we have to be careful about the bats that are zooming here and there, they will take away that XP! :D
Having had a grand hunting expendition with Pinecone Bomb and etc, we decided to level after some time! We went to The Eidleme Necropolis (pretending that we wanted to level). Our actual intention was to learn Death Ray from the Hecteyes in there as we leveled! Heheheeh. Cunning, aren't we?
We went from 35 to 37 at... Behemoth's Dominion!!! We became batty as we fought with bats and an occasional skeleton! This time we had a proper tank and a healer! Although the SAM was pulling like a maniac!
Go go dancers! That's the two of us!
Our last leveling expedition was at Yhoater Jungle, where we had an awesome tank this time!! Steel Chainmail FTW! Paladin tanks ROCK!!! We took on Crawlers and an occasional unfortunate Goblin that happens to wander into our camp! :3
We had a SMN main heal, but what was awesome and SCARY was Titan's Megalith Throw!
Again, we had three Blue mages! BLU burn party! I love Blue Mage!
Most amusing was everytime we aggroed a Coeurl, we all decided to ride on a chocobo! To sum up, "Chocobo Woman, Impossible to Gauge!" and those are Flynne's words!
