Chronicles of Blue Mage: Leveling
WHERE ARE ALL THE TANKS AND HEALERS!? zomg....the weird parties that we had to set up!
Our bad luck streak with tanks and healers continues as we fail to either find a tank or healer for our parties or generally don't find either!
At about level 39, we went to Gustav Tunnel to level...fighting flies, we were fortunate this time to find a SMN and a NIN to level with us, so our party setup was SMN, NIN, DRG, SAM, BLU , BLU. We -had- a RDM, unfortunately, he passed out on us after he got his level. -.-;;
Then when we hit level 42, we had NO Tank, so we had this stupendous party of BLU BLU SAM SAM RDM SMN. Surprisingly, we did quite well on this! :D Although I'm beginning to think that I will rarely get to Self-skillchain since people keep WSing in the middle of the SC. :( I think the SAMs were having great fun SCing together!
Pity the poor beetle! It was getting Tachi: Enpied to death!
At level 44, we went to Yhoater Jungle, which was Flynne and mine's favourite place cause the Goblins are easy to bully. This time we were fortunate enough to grab another standard party with a PLD BRD SMN BLU BLU THF. Zomg, this Paladin called Serade was awesome at keeping hate!
Flynne became the TA partner of the THF, I have no idea for what reason, although he says its because I'm a girl and he's a guy, so he's supposed to be the manly one that takes hate. :3 (He's also sub NIN while I'm sub WHM to support heal)
Then we had this horrible horrible time trying to get level 47 to 48. The gap is too huge! Not sure where to go. When we went to Quicksands Cave at Eastern Altepa desert at 47, we got measley xp, when we went to Quicksand Cave at Western Altepa Desert, the beetles seemed to have stoneskin on permanently as we chip slowly away at its armor!
Spider Web is a horrible horrible spell! Thankfully it doesn't last for long. Why don't we have this as a Blue Magic? The good side is we learnt Sickle Slash!
After a hard day's work, Flynne deserves a pat! After all, he was being support tank most of the time!
