I didn't get to dress up, be silly, or even hand out candy to wee ninjas or teenie ghosties this Hallow-e'en. We live too far out for kids to trick-or-treat here. Didn't go to a party, didn't get to attend a ritual. We've got a houseful of out-of-state in-laws and I'm a good hostess when I can be.

Everything I post in my personal journal is friends only so you would have to friend me to see any of those posts, but I have a public community journal here http://community.livejournal.com/johnnys_garden/ detailing the happenings at our little homestead in NM.
We celebrate Samhain on the day. I am in the process of writing up a post about the public ritual we conducted for Samhain at our home, as well as the Dia De Los Muertos parade we attended the following day. Should have that up today or tomorrow sometime.
Happy new year to you and yours.

Thanks for the warm welcome to someone you thought was a stranger. My old journal was Corngranny. My real name was and is Jan. :P
I didn't warn anyone I was changing the format/focus of my blog...just did it. The goal is to turn this into my tarot blog, and I liked Wyrd Sisters because of the simultaneous reference to Norse mythology and the Triple Goddess.
So forgo the posts if you don't care to read musings on the 10 of Swords or such, or on the journey into becoming a professional online tarot reader...
Thanks for the invite to johnny's garden!
Be Well,
Jan
