The national rollout of the UK police's ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system is kicking off, with the goal of deploying a network of over 2,000 cameras on motorways, major roads and city centres. So get yourself a popular model of car with the right year, age and colour and clone the plates. To be honest as this is an automatic system I can't really see a copper somewhere reviewing every photograph to see whether a number plate is right for the car.

All of this identification business works on the ease of copying the identification and in this case you're cloning an identity so it's a straight copy of a valid registration document that's needed to get the plates.
