I'm SO going to switch to Blogger or LJ for my main blog. I'm a computer geek, and proud of it, but I'm sick of stuff happening to my main blog that I can't seem to control. It makes me realize how much geek mojo/kung-fu I've lost, and I hate it. I might have to resort to an externally hosted, non-geeky format of blogging

I have red wine waiting for when Cathy gets home. And home-made BBQ pork chops on a bed of "spicy rice" (Chili powder & hot sauce mixed in while the rice was cooking). Alas, she missed her bus. So we eat and drink when she gets home.

I heart LJ. I don't use it of course, but it's RSS feeds include the complete post, so I'm not only reading snippets of journals.

I think it'll be seen as blasphemy here, but I really like Blogger. It's much more picture friendly than this place.

Vox is kinda cool too.

of course if you have your own hosting somewhere there's always wordpress...

I do have my own hosting elsewhere, and I do use WP. The problem is when something goes wrong and I a) can't fix it on my own or b) can fix it on my own but don't know how, then there's downtime. I figure there might not be as much downtime if I use someone else's service.
