That movie just ANGERED me, to no end. Ugh... I'm STILL all riled up, and I've been home for over an hour now! I need to watch something good, and get my mind off of it. (:
Heh, good thing you went and suffered through this for me, because my galpal wanted me to go see it with her. Now I'll know to cajole her into going to No Country for Old Men at the Cornell Cinema instead. :)
That's really too bad, because I love pretty much everyone in that movie, or at least, the ones I know are in it. (Ricci! Witherspoon! The guy who played Mr. Tumnus!) SIGH.
Well, bear in mind that both Leah and Adam liked it quite a bit (Adam even said he might buy it on DVD when it comes out, though he may have just been trying to goad me further into my vitriolic rage). (: So it's entirely possible you might like it! But if you read that entry, and agree that the things I noted would be horribly annoying to see, then you probably wouldn't like it. (:
Oh well I see Tom already mentioned Leah and I REALLY liked it... so I guess I don't have to, but...yeah, Leah and I REALLY liked it!! It was very cute.
The movies really aren't comparable at all. Ella Enchanted was much more of a fairytale fluff piece. Penelope, while it has many fairytale elements, is still a little more grounded in reality.
BTW, Don's got a LiveJournal now! You should comment on his first entry. His LJ name is therkiel (he tried to get theriel, but it was already taken, so he added a K for some reason!). (:

Now, I didn't see the movie, but I fail to see how this is even on the list of possible reactions... let alone YOUR CHOICE of reaction....
