So I spent a goodly portion of the day discussing the Virginia Tech shooting. That kind of newsblogish talk really isn't my thing. Yet I did so. I'm still a little diturbed at how unnaffected I am by it. I knew something had happened last monday. Everyone was expressing pangs of sympathy and sorrow. It wasn't untill last weekend that I picked

People snap, it's natural. I'm with you on this, and I didn't feel that much sympathy for it. And I'm the lady who cries when she sees poor starving children around the world on tv.
I was a bit aggrivated that they made him out to be a monster, yet didn't really address the campus saftey issue. They knew two people from the college were murdered yet they didn't alert everyone in class about it. They sent out EMAILS. EMAILS, that no one without a blackberry was going to get while in class. I'm just appauled at how horribly the administration handled the whole situation.
