We've Moved!
Now that project:Move-into-Rental is complete, we will soon be issuing change of address cards for our temporary location.  It appears that construction on our new house is finally starting to come together, but as yet all we have to show for it is a grid of trenches full of concrete.  Supposedly it will take 120-150 days before our ( Read more... )

Hey I've always praised the superior glories of USAA. I don't currently have a bank account with them, but they've always served my insurance needs. I have my account at a credit union though so I don't put up with a lot of the BS the banks tend to put out. Good luck with the new bank!

I have to admit I've been slow to come around on USAA, but between their across the board good customer service and incredibly competitive rates, they've made a customer out of me. I'm almost tempted to throw the mortgage business their way just because I know they wouldn't mess with us like Chase did on our last house.

I still don't know what happened to me - I've never had a problem with someone else getting their blood drawn. I think since you had sympathetic preganancies - it must be some connection that we have. At least I recovered within a couple of minutes and was able to walk to the exam room and drive us both home. You must have been projecting ;) Love you!

Well, it's not the first time I thought I've induced nausea in other women. It must be my strange and mysterious power! :)

You should check out Consumerist. They have a lot of horror stories about banks, to say the least.

And I hope Lissa broke the echo-tech's face.

Laura... again... with her numbered responses:

1. Yes! Play by play on the house is required! ;) Time permitting, of course. Maybe you should get a free flickr account... might make posting the pictures easier.

2. Marfan's = boo. Good friend in the clear for marfan's: Yaaay!

3. USAA is great. I've always had my car insurance through them, and their customer service in a time of need is superb. I also have my savings and a credit card account through them. Thought about the checking, but having my checking at BOA makes it easier for Alan and I to transfer funds back and forth.
