Fantasy football draft results

In the league of annual pocket fleecing, I once again suffered through an interminably long football draft for my fantasy team.  I was just about as unfortunate as possible in getting the ninth pick out of a twelve team draft, but I still think I managed to do all right with it.  Though, some measure of my fantasy success revolves around two former ( Read more... )

I felt pretty lucky getting Favre when I did. I was on the tail end of the seventh round when I discovered that 13 QB's had already gone off the board. As for Rodgers, I see him as a good insurance pick considering the tools still available to him. Of course, everything's a gamble this time of year. That said, the rest of my league went nuts. We only pick 14 players for each team, and some people were wasting high round draft picks on Kevin Curtis, Deion Branch, Javon Walker, and Tim Ginn.

Off-topic, sorry for losing my cool and calling someone stupid on your lj. I'm usually better than that.

How does this work? Do you roll dice to see which team wins? Or do you play Madden and actually make these people play against each other?
