It looks like she's hugging one of those cardboard cutouts. Someone on my friends list has one of Edward from Twilight, which she has leering creepily from her work cubicle. Sometimes she puts hats on him. Now I am imagining Minako with a creepy Kunzite cutout in her window, leering out at the kids and unnerving Artemis.

When the door swung open to reveal the studio apartment, the strength of light was rather surprising for seven in the morning. It wasn't blinding, it was simply strong - so illuminating that the dancing dust motes had their very own spotlight. Actually, it was also surprising how much dust there was. Ami wrinkled her nose. This would be the first and last time she went home with Mina-chan. The place was messy, dusty, and ... Ami's eyes quickly scanned the place like some infrared laser x-ray machine, on the lookout for cockroaches. Well, at least it wasn't filthy. Thank heavens for small mercies ( ... )

Awesome! I love it! Especially how from Ami's perspective, it's so horribly dusty, but from Mina's she's all proud of how "clean" her place looks. I totally justify my level of cleanliness like Mina does (there's no crap on the floor = clean!). Love the situation, too. I'm guessing Mina's place is just easier to crash at than her own.
And Mina's form of swearing. Oh Mina, never change.
