dazed and confused

It feels like there's a million and one things I need to complete but my brain feels like it's wrapped up in cotton wool and I can't think through the opaque cloudiness. I know the to-do list is more like 20 items long than a million and one, but I can't anchor myself to get them done, or done right. My energies are scattered in all directions, ( Read more... )

It's not gone, it's just asleep! We'll just wake her up and you'll be writing like crazy in no time. :D

It looks like she's hugging one of those cardboard cutouts. Someone on my friends list has one of Edward from Twilight, which she has leering creepily from her work cubicle. Sometimes she puts hats on him. Now I am imagining Minako with a creepy Kunzite cutout in her window, leering out at the kids and unnerving Artemis.

LOL. Thank you for saying that, exactly what I needed to get me writing again. Got three paragraphs done in 20mins before bed, now just have to find time to flesh out the rest.

When the door swung open to reveal the studio apartment, the strength of light was rather surprising for seven in the morning. It wasn't blinding, it was simply strong - so illuminating that the dancing dust motes had their very own spotlight. Actually, it was also surprising how much dust there was. Ami wrinkled her nose. This would be the first and last time she went home with Mina-chan. The place was messy, dusty, and ... Ami's eyes quickly scanned the place like some infrared laser x-ray machine, on the lookout for cockroaches. Well, at least it wasn't filthy. Thank heavens for small mercies ( ... )

Eee, I'm so glad!

Awesome! I love it! Especially how from Ami's perspective, it's so horribly dusty, but from Mina's she's all proud of how "clean" her place looks. I totally justify my level of cleanliness like Mina does (there's no crap on the floor = clean!). Love the situation, too. I'm guessing Mina's place is just easier to crash at than her own.

And Mina's form of swearing. Oh Mina, never change.

V, promise me you'll never, ever change. And if you do, please let it be a happy change so that you'll always be the hyperactive smuff-loving fic-hound who gets us all to pick up our pens. I saw Starsea's comment about you on her LJ, and I totally second her response. You're crazy fun and just reading anything you write (even if it's a grocery-list) would probably inspire anyone to come out of the writing woodwork. ♥
